
Design & landscape

A key consideration for the design strategy was to maintain and create strong landscape boundaries for the proposed development.
The warehouse is located in the north-west corner of the site, allowing the building to be set down in the landscape and set back from the principal road corridors while also maintaining the important landscape buffer to adjacent residential areas. The warehouse is single storey and utilises a neutral palette of materials.
The landscape proposals are focused primarily on retaining and enhancing key vegetation and reinforcing the residential boundaries in order to limit impact on residential views, while creating new landscape infrastructure adjacent to the active road corridors. The proposed landscaping will provide an attractive internal environment for members, contained within strong native landscape infrastructure to the boundaries.
